Re-Run/Pick-Up 71. FC-AFC Bob And Ed’s Excellent Adventure “Chef”, LM, Ed Krueger
Flyer: bird was shot long of the original area. Dog Stopped
on it!
Mem: traveled tight to holding blind took a turn behind
blind then reappeared deep of the mark made several loops and drove deep to the
area of the blind retrieve dog got caught up in the scent of the blind and had
to be Picked Up from the test.
72. FC-AFC Trumarc’s Hollandaise “Holland”, LM, Danny Farmer
Flyer: travel tight to the gun station with a quick turn to retrieve the bird.
Mem: drove through cover went a bit deep and then worked back to retrieve the bird clean.
Blind: two early whistles, then several to complete the retrieve.

Flyer: Smacked it!
Mem: traveled near the holding blind, slowed in the area and made the retrieve clean.
Blind: accurate and smooth for a complete retrieve
Conditions Report
The sun is trying to peek out of the clouds improving lighting on occasion. However, the line to the blind is beginning to be trampled down creating a path to the bird.
Re-Run 68. FC-AFC Valtor’s Hayseed Kid “Kid”, LM, Don Remien
Flyer: retrieved the bird clean.
Mem: nice mark!
Blind: carried a great initial line carried all the way to the gun station with few to complete the retrieve.
Re-Run 66. FC Ashland’s Annabella “Bella”, LF, Alan Pleasant
Flyer: making way hard and deep up the hill then hunted rapidly back to the bird.
Mem: straight to the area for a clean retrieve.
Blind: accurate and smooth retrieve.
69. FC-AFC Third Creek’s Big Stick “Woody”, LM, Paul Knutson
Flyer: traveled to the mark near the gun station established a hunt then swiftly made way to retrieve the bird.
Mem: Drilled it.
Blind: early whistle, carried it to the gun station where another whistle and cast carried the dog to the end where another whistle was blown to check the dog down for a successful retrieve.
Re-Run 65. FC Paddlecreek’s Carbon Grade “Coal”, LM, Ray Voigt
Flyer: straight to the cover to make a clean retrieve quickly.
Mem: traveled to the cover, reappeared seconds later with the bird in mouth.
Blind: completed the retrieve accurate and smooth in three whistles.
Re-Run/Pick-Up 64. FC Queen Wilhelmina Of The Netherlands “Willa”, LF, Wayne Curtis
Flyer: drove up the hill established a hunt then left the area over the hill side out of sight. Handler attempted to handle but could not see dog, Wayne called Willa in and when she appeared Willa had the Rooster in her mouth.
Willa was considered picked-up.

Flyer: travel high on the hill, drove deep established a hunt and work her way to the bird for a clean retrieve.
Mem: traveled to the holding blind, turned to dive in the cover and retrieve the bird.
Blind: a pretty and accurate retrieve.

Flyer: Bird was shot very long of the original fall areas, dog made a few small loops in the area for an accurate mark on a tough Flyer.
Mem: lined through the cover and drove deep before dog was Handled to the complete the retrieve.
Blind: was completed with a single whistle
Gun Change
Gunners are being rapidly switched out and the crews are on the hustle. Good job guys! The air is heavy with a drizzle dampening the ground.
