This is "Windy's" 14th National event qualified for at the ripe age of 12.5 years young. Windy will pick up the Flyer and go into retirement for the rest of her years. Many have enjoy competing against and watching this National Field Champion who leaves a legacy of promising progeny in the retriever field trial events. Have a good one, Windy we will miss seeing you under judgement in the game. Good Girl!
Flyer: was a giant throw with streamers tied to the feet waving Good-Bye in the light breeze.
Windy swiftly ran to the area and retrieved the bird without missing a beat. Just as Ken was trying to turn and walk off-line Windy stood starring down the memory bird waiting to be sent for its retrieve. The crowd clapped and cheered with tears welling up in their eyes as Ken and Windy walked off-line into the arms of Brenda Neil. Happy Retirement, Windy, you earned it!
